Living wage
- At Ainsty Risk, we believe that successful employers need to prioritize social sustainability. That is why we have made the decision to pay our staff more than the real Living Wage.
- The real Living Wage is independently calculated based on what employees and their families need to live. It’s higher than the government’s minimum wage. It applies to all workers over the age of 18, regardless of whether they are full-time, part-time, or temporary.
- We believe that paying our staff a real Living Wage is not only the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense. It helps to attract and retain talented employees, and it can lead to higher levels of productivity and job satisfaction. It also helps to reduce income inequality and supports the local economy by putting more money into the pockets of our staff.
- We are proud to be a Living Wage employer and believe that it demonstrates our commitment to social sustainability. We believe that every worker deserves to be paid a fair wage that allows them to live with dignity and security, and we hope that our decision to pay a real Living Wage will inspire other employers to do the same.
- UN SDG Target 10.4 “Adopt policies, especially fiscal, wage and social protection policies, and progressively achieve greater equality”.

Sustainability
- At Ainsty Risk, we recognize the importance of companies in building a sustainable economy and society, and we understand the impact that our activities can have on human rights and the environment. That is why we are committed to leading with sustainable and responsible business behaviours, in line with the UN Guiding Principles and OECD guidelines.
- We believe that sustainability should be at the heart of everything we do, and that is why we encourage and support our employees, advisers, and clients to adopt and support active travel on a day-to-day basis. We understand that small changes can make a big difference, and we are committed to doing our part to promote sustainable transportation options.
- In addition, we are committed to managing our environmental impact responsibly, and our current Environmental Impact Management Policy Statement is available upon request. We believe that transparency is key to building trust with our stakeholders, and we are committed to being open and honest about our environmental impact and the steps we are taking to minimize it.
- On a day-to-day basis we encourage and support employees, our advisers and our clients to adopt and support active travel.
- We understand that building a sustainable future requires a collaborative effort, and we are committed to working with our employees, advisers, and clients to create a more sustainable and responsible business ecosystem. We believe that by working together, we can create a better world for everyone.
Anti slavery
- Ainsty Risk Consulting Ltd is committed to combatting slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
- Our supply chain is limited to the provision of our offices, stationary, computer hardware and software, and travel and accommodation.
- From time-to-time we engage with specialist contractors, which by our own risk assessment typically have very low risk of exploitation.
- We understand that certain industry sectors and geographical regions entail greater risk of exploitation than others.
- We believe that our supply chain is not in one of those sectors or regions.
- Where it is reasonably practicable, we ensure that businesses in our supply chain have made a similar statement relating to slavery and human trafficking.
